...and just like that, the New York adventure is over {for now!}. We've been living for the last two years in beautiful Brooklyn Heights, which has been a dream come true for me on so many levels. Although I'm in lust with all corners of the city, sometimes I craved the sensation of carving out my own village in the city {I loved living in Barnes in West London and Crystal Palace in South East London for the same reason} and the neighborhood vibe of the Heights definitely gave me that. It's not cool like other parts of Brooklyn, its not buzzy like SoHo or Gramercy, but it's been a wonderful place to call home. We will miss the window boxes, the dog-obsessed neighbors, the cute cafes, the wander into Dumbo and the constant debate about where to get the best pizza. We will miss our friends and discovering the hidden gems of the city. 

So for now its see you later to NYC. Thanks for having us. You've been a challenging, exhilarating, fascinating, blooming' grubby place to live and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Next stop...Puerto Rico!

BOOM we are back! Well, dear readers, that was a very, very long coffee break and I've missed my little grasshopper of a blog! Since I was last here, my beau and I have up sticks to quaint Brooklyn in a small town called New BLOOMING York and we couldn't be more excited! We're settling in, trying our best to keep apace with the frenzy and energy of this part of town, so I now feel ready to explore and share. Brooklyn is overflowing with creativity, beautiful architecture, more delicious restaurants than you can shake a twinkie at and I hope to have a glimpse of it all! Its good to be back. Welcome aboard friends!

{The sun is finally bursting out in London Town and I'm dreaming of my trip in the summer...Guyana to see the Twin Brother, who has lived there since August, then the great US of A for a road trip with my beloved, visiting fun friends in beautiful rural areas as well as NYC. Red cup or vin rouge? The Boy goes to Paris sometimes for le travaille (or la? Le...la....) and I totally miss out; however I went to NYC for 2 days when I was 16 which was a million years ago, and the Boy has never been....oh the decisions...! Ps - its snowing so we might not be able to go anywhere soon, yay!}
